Tapuz was established in 1996 by Dr. Akiva Sharon, MD, M.Sc and his wife Sigal Sharon. Dr. Sharon is the inventor and developer of Tapuz's products.

The first model of the ECG belt was released in 1997.

In 2000 the first generation of the MSC system was released, and installed in many organizations in Israel.

During 2004-2008 Tapuz's products were marketed by a separate marketing company;  since 2008 marketing is in-house again.

At this time we are introducing to the market a new strap ECG belt model, that can be buckled on the front or on the back.
