MSC-1 system
The MSC-1
system - Medical Screening Computer - is an integrated
system for the performance of medical check up examinations.
It performs the following
examinations:
1. ECG
2. Spirometry (lung functions)
3. Audiometry
4. Blood pressure measurment
5. Pulse oxymetry (SPO2)
6. Visual acuity test
Results are stored into a comprehensive database.
The MSC-1 incorporates the attitude that a check-up examination should be easy to perform, independent of location restriction - i.e. can be performed in remote locations; and that it should low cost.
Results of the above 6 examinations are presented to the physician in a clear and friendly interface.
All results can be transmitted to a remote medical facility (hospital, expert clinics etc) in real time for further consultations with experts, thus allowing the patient best medical care wherever one is.
3. A spirometer that uses reusable mouthpieces and saves costs of disposables;
4. Automatic Snellen board visual acuity test.
All devices are operated from a user friendly software installed on a dedicated computer.
The MSC-1 includes several unique developments that enable the examinations to be performed by non-professional personnel:
1. The ECG Belt (patented), which replaces the traditional ECG electrodes set and connects the patient to the ECG in 2 seconds;
2. An audiometer that can perform an automatic hearing test without the need for a sound-proof cabin;
